It was a combination of three conversations.
The conversations were all separate. They were also all with guys I have known and respected for years.
In the end, I didn’t leave Facebook, but some things radically changed.
First, I carved 300 friends entirely. These people weren’t really friends of course. Just people I’ve picked up along the way. They were nice enough, but they had to go.
Secondly, I divided my remaining friends into two groups. 200 of them can see some of my info and posts, but not all. The remaining 100 have free access.
Then, I upped my privacy settings big time.
So, now Facebook is a place where I interact with around 100 of my close friends.
Already I can feel the relief.
