I have been against hedges ever since my junior year in college when I decided to take a short cut through the decorative hedges on the lovely campus of Samford University. Being the nimble athlete I thought I was, I figured I could easily hurdle the hedges and be on my way to class. When I reached the peak of the arc that was my leap, the sudden and sick realization that I was descending at a point less than halfway across the hedges hit me. Teeth, hair, eyeballs, and books everywhere! Fortunately, I was so late for class at the time that no one was around to see my Evil Knevilesque experience!
